  3. En un caldero grande, ponemos a freír con poca aceite : las cebollas, el pimiento en daditos pequeños y la calabaza en cuadrados mas grandes. Dejamos que sofría un poco y removemos. Cuando se haya pochado un poco la cebolla, añadiremos las lentejas y las costillas bien escurridas, después le pondremos las papas y la Chayota pelada. Ponemos agua hasta cubrir 2 dedos por encima de todas las verduras y dejamos guisar durante 1 hora. Miramos si todo esta guisado y si es así, apartamos del fuego.
  4. Después de dejar reposar el potaje 15 minutos. Ya esta listo para servir y comer.
